My 1 night in Astakos were really lovely. The staff was amicable and the owner too. There were a balcony and a kitchenette area in my apartment, thoroughly enjoyed it. Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Astakos...

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decor at Giannis Village Resort. The beautiful upholstery and tasteful furniture in the common areas made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane. It was just perfect for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could provide more assistance with carrying luggage. While they were polite and friendly, a little more help in this area would have made my stay even more comfortable.

The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printing and photocopying facilities.

We had an amazing stay at Giannis Village Resort in Astakos. the location, facilities, and view were all lovely. the owners provided a warm welcome and were very responsive during our stay. the resort is currently being built and is set to be one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Everything was of a high standard and very luxurious. the apartments had sun water heating systems, ensuring a consistent water supply. the swimming pool was fantastic, and there was even a gym to use. Astakos itself is a quiet village with a small beach and all the essential amenities. Vasilis and Giannis, the hosts, were the most friendly and welcoming hosts we have ever encountered.

Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

Pool occasionally crowded: Due to its popularity, the pool at Giannis Village Resort can sometimes attract a larger crowd. However, the hotel management ensures that everyone behaves appropriately, so it doesn't disrupt the overall experience.

The hosts at this resort were incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The apartment I stayed in was spacious, clean, and had excellent heating and air-conditioning. The property had a beautiful garden with stunning views, and the swimming pool was fantastic. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the hosts were always available to provide recommendations and assistance. the breakfast provided was delicious, and I especially loved trying the local cheese and wine.

The location of the resort was quite steep, so be prepared for some uphill walking. If you have any limitations, it might be better to request a lower-level apartment.

Amazingly responsive owners, reliable internet, individual water heating system, fantastic swimming pool, gym available, a nice small beach within the village. Good luck to them!
